Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WorthChoosingCoaching.com and the services of Worth Choosing Coaching ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our site, taking the First Date Audit, subscribing to our newsletter, or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

1. Who may use our services

You must be at least 18 years old.

2. What we offer

• Free resources, including the First Date Audit, a free sample chapter, and our newsletter.
• The book, Beyond Nice Guys, which is sold through Amazon. Purchases made on Amazon are governed by Amazon's terms.
• One-on-one coaching, including strategy sessions and coaching programs. Coaching offers education, guidance, and accountability on dating and relationship skills.

3. Coaching is not therapy

Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, or legal or financial advice. We do not diagnose or treat any condition, and no therapist–client relationship is created. Please read our Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.

4. No guarantees

We cannot promise any particular outcome, such as matches, dates, or a relationship. Results depend on your effort, your circumstances, and other people's choices.

5. Booking, payment, cancellations, and refunds

• Payment. Prices are shown when you book. Payment is due at booking unless we state otherwise and is processed by a third-party payment processor.
• Rescheduling and cancelling. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session. A session cancelled with less notice, or a missed session, may be counted as used.
• Single sessions. If you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, you may reschedule or receive a full refund. A session that has taken place is not refundable.
• Coaching packages. You may cancel within 7 days of purchase for a refund of unused sessions, as long as no more than one session has been used. After that, unused sessions are not refundable but may be used during the package term.

6. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information and take responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
• Treat us and others with respect. We may end services if conduct is abusive, harassing, or unlawful.
• We do not coach men to manipulate, deceive, pressure, or disregard anyone's boundaries, and we will end services if asked to help with those things. If we end services for this reason, we will refund any unused prepaid portion.

7. Confidentiality

How we handle what you share is described in our Privacy Policy, including the limits of confidentiality.

8. Intellectual property

The content on our site, in our book, and in our coaching materials belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell, share, or republish it without our written permission.

9. Acceptable use of the site

Do not use the site unlawfully, interfere with its operation, scrape it with automated tools, or impersonate another person.

10. Third-party services and links

Our site uses and links to third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, our site, resources, and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. If it is not resolved, it will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms or our services from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use our site or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are our entire agreement with you.
