Privacy policy

Worth Choosing Coaching ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through WorthChoosingCoaching.com and our related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Many of the people we work with value discretion, and we have written this policy with that in mind.

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your email address when you sign up for our newsletter or ask for your First Date Audit results; your audit answers and scores when you choose to submit your email; details you share when you book a session or contact us, such as your name, email address, and anything you tell us about your situation; and the messages you send us.
• Payment information. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Information collected automatically. Basic usage information, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location (country or region), collected through privacy-focused analytics. We do not use it to identify you personally.

If you take the First Date Audit but do not submit your email, we do not save your answers.

2. How we use your information

• To show and send you your audit results and any free resources you request.
• To send the newsletter and updates you have asked to receive.
• To schedule and deliver coaching sessions and respond to your messages.
• To improve our website, content, and the audit, using information in combined form.
• To protect the site and meet legal obligations.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your audit answers or anything you tell us in coaching with advertisers.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, database storage, email delivery, scheduling, video calls, and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy's protections would continue to apply.

5. Confidentiality of coaching

What you share in coaching is kept confidential and is not shared without your permission, except where the law requires disclosure or where it is necessary to prevent serious harm to you or someone else. Coaching is not therapy, and coaching conversations are not protected by therapist–patient or similar legal privilege. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing.

6. Email

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing margot@worthchoosingcoaching.com. We will stop sending them promptly.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our site uses only the cookies needed for it to work and, where we use it, privacy-focused analytics. We do not use advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

8. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services, communicate with you, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We keep newsletter and audit information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Email margot@worthchoosingcoaching.com and we will respond within a reasonable time and within any time limit the law sets. Residents of some states have additional privacy rights, and we will honor reasonable requests regardless of where you live.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Adults only

Our site and services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to other sites

Our site and book may link to other websites, including Amazon. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so on the site.
